"Resizing felt way more stressful than it should’ve"
I bought my ring through Rare Carat the resizing process just didn’t feel right from the start. My gut was telling me it was dragging longer than expected, and it did end up taking more time than they originally said. Updates were slow too, which made me more anxious than I wanted to be. The ring did come back looking fine in the end, but the whole wait was stressful and not a great experience overall.

"Honestly, it didn’t make sense to me"
I wasn’t really happy with my experience. Support took longer than I expected, and by the end of it I still didn’t feel like my issue was handled well. I kept thinking, “make it make sense,” because the whole process just felt slower and more frustrating than it needed to be

I wanted to feel better about this purchase, but my gemologist basically told me I should’ve skipped it. I can see why now. It’s not completely terrible, I guess, but for the price, I don’t really think it was worth it

"Refund took way too long"
I had to follow up a few times to get my refund, and it was just really frustrating. The replies were slow, and I kept being told to wait longer. It wasn’t the absolute worst experience, but i just wouldn’t order from them again after this
"Pretty ring, but the packaging felt careless"
The ring itself is nice, but I’ll be honest, the packaging really threw me off. For the price, I expected it to feel a little more special. The box felt kind of cheap, and the outside package showed up dented, which just gave me the impression it was packed in a hurry or not handled with much care. Maybe that’s not what happened, but that’s definitely the vibe I got when I opened it. The ring is fine, but the whole unboxing experience was underwhelming

The return policy was frustrating. The window felt way too short, especially compared to most other stores I shop at where you get a bit more flexibility. I ended up feeling rushed and annoyed, so I probably won’t be shopping here again

"Slow replies made me second-guess everything"
The site itself was easy to use, so that part wasn’t the issue. But I already had a feeling that customer support might be a weak spot, the slow replies kind of proved it to me. When I had questions, I waited longer than I expected, and a couple of the answers didn’t really address what I was asking. For something this expensive, I really wanted quicker and more reassuring help. It wasn’t a terrible experience, but it definitely made me hesitate about moving forward.

I tried using Rare Carat to compare diamonds, and I’m not totally sure if it was just me, but some of the info didn’t feel as clear as I expected. The prices and seller details seemed a bit easy to overlook, and I found myself clicking around quite a bit just to figure out what was actually included. It’s not a bad site by any means, but for a purchase this expensive, I feel like the important details should probably be more upfront.

"Financing felt like a trap"
Trying to figure out the financing was such a headache. The options weren’t explained very clearly, and the more I looked into it, the more I felt kind of stuck with choices that didn’t really seem worth it. It just felt like way more hassle than it should’ve been.

"The comparison tool got frustrating fast"
I thought the diamond comparison tool was going to make things easier, but it just got annoying, really annoying. It kept showing matches that didn’t make much sense, and when I clicked through, the prices didn’t always line up with what I’d just seen. The filters felt messy too, like I had to keep adjusting and re-adjusting just to get decent results. After a while I got tired of it and ended up looking somewhere else.

Tbh, I wasn’t totally sure about their sourcing, so I didn’t feel 100% confident. Maybe it’s fine, but I just wish there was a bit more info upfront.

"Nice diamond, not-so-nice finish"
The diamond itself looked fine, which was great, because apparently the setting decided to be the problem. The prongs were uneven, and one side sat higher than the other, like it was going for a custom tilted look. For the price, I definitely expected cleaner craftsmanship. Disappointed overall

"I ordered from Rare Carat thinking the ring..."
I ordered from Rare Carat thinking the ring would get here in plenty of time, i feel kind of stupid for trusting that it would be smooth. The shipping ended up being way slower than I expected, and the tracking barely updated, so I was just sitting there checking over and over with no real idea what was happening.
The ring was fine once it finally showed up, but the whole wait was really frustrating. For something this expensive, I expected either faster delivery or at least clear updates along the way instead of feeling like I was left guessing.

I went on Rare Carat hoping the sales advisor would actually help me compare a couple of rings, but it just felt like I was bothering them. The replies were slow, and when they did respond, it was mostly the same info I had already read on the site.
When I asked basic questions, I got short answers with no real guidance, like they made it my problem to figure everything out myself. I ended up more confused than when I started, so overall it wasn’t a great experience.

"Expected more ways to customize"
I went into Rare Carat expecting I’d be able to make the ring feel a little more personal, so I was let down by how limited the customization options felt. Some of the styles I liked barely had any choices, and even changing small details wasn’t as simple as I thought it would be.
For the price, I expected more flexibility. Instead of feeling like I was creating something unique, it felt more like I was choosing from a set of preset designs. I ended up getting frustrated and started looking somewhere else.

"Prongs got loose quickly"
I don’t know if mine was just defective or what, but after about a week the prongs were already loose. The setting didn’t feel very secure, so I was disappointed.
